Light Mauve Pearls

This simple, elegant necklace pairs delicate, light pinkish-mauve pearls and a gold fill chain.  The necklace has an adjustable length clasp with another pearl at the end.  The pearl dripping down the back of the neck looks very sexy with short or upswept hair.

Jasper and Swarovski Crystal Necklace

Jasper is the opaque version of quartz.  As with quartz, it adopts all the colors of the minerals that flow through it as it forms.  This jasper reminds me of the painted hills of Montana and the rich red clay I use when I throw pottery on the wheel.  There is just something absolutely sexy about playing in red mud and the great shape and color of these stones reflects that sexiness.

The base tone of this pentagonal cut jasper set is a reddish brown that seems positively fertile.  I’ve accented it with similar color Swarovski crystals and finished it with a sterling lobster clasp.

Autumn Pearl & Swarovski Crystal Necklace

While walking the early autumn streets and hills, I was thrilled by the juxtaposition of rich, warm colors. Once home, I tossed a mix of harvest colors and earth tones on my board and began combining them in this simple, yet elegant choker. I’ve paired freshwater pearls with Swarovski crystals and set them on gold-fill chain.
